Anyone out there know of or if there ever will be a futures funded trader program but or swing traders and not day traders? I have built some skills in spread trading commodities and would be nice if there was a company out there that focused on traders that can earn some good trades for the firm by having a few good spread trades on several times per month rather then day trading outrights. Thanks in advance

I don't think anything like that exists but would be pleasantly surprised if anyone can prove me wrong. I think swing trading spreads isn't aligned with the business model of those trader tryout places, aka you wouldn't hit your daily loss limit repeatedly and keep forking over money to play again. The style of trading you're into seems to fit more of a commodity portfolio manager than a prop trader anyhow. Personally I would just find a way to earn extra cash and size up your own account while trying to aggressively lower your transaction costs via leasing a seat and going directly to a clearing firm.
