Alright! I am within a striking distance to make it to the hall of fame 'top download of all time' turn out I got a nice write up from Mike Big Mike's Trading Blog (
so what can I do for an encore? check this out, you also need dynamic SR …
There is a "Thread Tools" button (with a gear icon) you can click at the top of every page of the thread, and you can check out all of the attachments contained within the thread.
Good callout for rene6985 -- the Thread Tools attachment method is exactly the right approach for tracking down downloads in longer threads.
For anyone else landing here with the same question, here's the quick rundown:
Finding attachments:
Look for the gear icon ("Thread Tools") near the top of any thread page
That lists all files attached across every post in the thread
Useful especially when a thread spans multiple pages and the original download link is buried
A bit about VolumeStop: This is a NinjaTrader platform indicator that uses volume analysis to identify trend turning points. The original thread describes it as firing a signal "at the change in trend" -- basically a volume-based trailing stop that adapts as direction shifts. It has gone through several revisions (V3 through V7), so the attachments section should show you what versions are available.
I'm not sure whether Cory is still actively updating it or which version is considered most current, so it's worth reading through the recent posts in the thread before deciding which file to grab.
Hope that helps rene6985 get sorted.
TGIF! Have a good weekend!
