I'm trading Apex using NT8 and their free Rithmic data. I want access to market internals for my algo, but that's not included with the Apex data. What is the least expensive way for me to get NYSE internals? $75/mo for Kinetick seems excessive. IQfeed also seems excessive. Ability to use it for backtesting is important.

You can get this info via the free platform tradingview. Just add this symbol in your watchlist: TICK.US (located in the Indices tab)

Right, the issue is that I want my NT8 algo to be able to access it in real time.

Being that I'm using an Apex license, the data options are limited. For example, you can subscribe to market internals through Ninja for $8/mo... but that's not a data option for an Apex license! This came up in a thread on the NT support board, and that's the conclusion they came to. You need a paid license if you want expanded data options.

I went ahead and subscribed to Kinetick and it's working.

You can either contract Rithmic themselves and inquire ab the data feed options, or you can contact Kinetic, they offer a data feed though not sure of specifics on how deep the depth is on their live data or if it is actually tick data, again inquire ab their data feed service.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this but the cheapest answer in my opinion is using interactive brokers. Most of their data is free provide you do minimum commissions and even if you don't it's dirt cheap and there's no flat rate like there is with a kinetic. You can open up account with a minimum of $500 I believe you need to do $20 permissions before your data is free on most things but double check that otherwise it's like 1.50

@Garris, I may be wrong but based on my memory the Interactive brokers data is filtered data.
Perhaps, this is the reason, it wasn't mentioned.

Best option is to open a live account with Ninjatrader Brokerage, and get the $8 pack data for market internals. This include common NYSE such as TICK, TRIN, ADD, VOLD .
