Is there a possibility of problems with the Easylanguage editor if I put indicator names or comments in the editor in Japanese?

I doubt that it would work but the quickest way to find the answer to these kinds of questions is to try it.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, assuming your variable names were in the same Western European character set that is used for English or other European-style characters. That is, if it is Japanese, but written in non-Japanese characters. It might work in non-"European" character sets as well, assuming they were recognized by Windows (not really sure about that, since I don't know how EasyLanguage would take them.) As far as the comments go, anything within a comment block should simply be skipped over, so that should be no problem. Again, no idea if that would hold true if actual Japanese characters are used.

But the way to find out, as @bfulks says, is to just try it.

Thank you for your response.

There seems to be no problem with comments in Japanese.
