I'm attaching my end result screenshot & template.xml using your helpful guidance. It took me a while to realize using "Numbers" (vs Profile) in Display Type gets the boxed Footprint per your screenshot. Then with quite a bit of color adjusting, I discovered that its the "Profile Color" (white in this instance per my black background preference) that dictates what seems to be the POC on the footprint bar (WITHIN a Volumetric chart even). I then used the attached template on my original Volumetric Footprint chart and low and behold (after several hours looking at my wristwatch j/k) SOB if the POC didnt print on the Bars too; I think/hope (in white per the screenshot here). The POC on bar chart radial button did NOT need to be checked/active; also FYI the Footprint radial button in Mike's Footprint V2 indicators settings was greyed out but realized it could be activated using the top menu toggle "Fooprint". Coding is an extremely admirable skill which I could never master; great work Mike and as always thanks.
Bare in mind I use another price chart with many other indicators(eg price action) and Mike's Footprint chart exclusively to give me some insight on a real time tick x tick basis whether "they" are buying or selling. POC is an intrigal part of what used to be exclusive to the trading floor's sights and sounds with who was who by reputation among other clues.
I wanted to post today's trading. Not a lot of trades but I the last few weeks I spent time dialing down timeframes and removing all indicators but the delta.
I'm obsessed with the my MAE's. I could have traded more, but I felt my concentration waning. So I recorded the rest of the session for me to study and be better.
Also turned off the momo tails in jigsaw and that made a big difference in reading price and watching stop runs.
great looking charts!
When trading such fast timeframes you really have to reduce and optimize the visuals so you can process these informations and make good trading decisions.
I love your approach and how the volume map adds value to these charts.
All the best,
Mike
