I've been using TWS, and I find it quite buggy. Often the Volume Histogram malfunctions forcing me to reload the chart, sometimes charts stop updating and I need to reload the chart in order to make them update. Sometimes, seemingly at random, it will hog a ton of system resources for no apparent reason.
In your experience, are the other platforms more or less buggy than TWS? If less, then which are the most solid/least buggy?
You know how it is, the major features listed in the brochure matter, but it's the little things that matter most.. If the software is buggy/implemented poorly, then it's probably better to stick w/ a less full featured but better implemented alternative.
Thanks, Any info is much appreciated

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I mean ... do they still have their clock set on 01.01.1888, or is it still perceived common practice nowadays that a piece of software to be kept solid, it has to be restarted daily ... not sure I get it with this company (IB Gateway forces you to do daily restarts/logoffs) ... do they use assembler to code the program and afraid of memory leakage, what's the reason?
My question is another one: given the "state of the matter at hand", why do people still say IBKR is one of the best brokers out there to connect with Ninja / Multicharts (or even Ami / gridiron leagues) - you ask them, they'd all say "yes, IBKR is the way to go" ... it escapes me.
