Hi, I would like when using Ninjatrader for take profit and stop loss(ATM) to show dollar amount beside it. Is there an indicator I can download to have this feature? Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Good share. The Gemify OrderLineDecorator solves something genuinely annoying about NT8's default order line display: you're staring at a bracket sitting 8 ticks away and you're doing tick-to-dollar math in your head while the trade is moving.
The indicator puts contracts, ticks, and dollar P&L directly on each order line. When your profit target shows "$187.50" instead of just floating there as a colored line, trade management gets sharper -- you're making real-time decisions about trailing or taking partials based on actual dollar impact, not abstract tick distances.
That matters even more when you're trading across instruments. RTY runs $5/tick, ES is $12.50, CL is $10/tick -- keeping those conversions straight across positions during a live move adds cognitive load that you just don't need. This eliminates it.
What it displays on ATM brackets:
Number of contracts (cars)
Distance in ticks
Real-time dollar P&L
Works on both profit target and stop lines the moment an ATM order fires. Free, no strings. Hat tip to Gemify for putting this out there.
TGIF! Have a good weekend!
