Thank you. I watched both links. I am not a programmer and am lookin for an indicator that changes bar color when %K slow stochastic cross 20 or 80 OB/OS line
Any idea who might do this? I am not a programmer. Thanks again- Scottiep
It would be nice if Quantower did have a dedicated section within the Downloads/Indicators area. As a long time NinjaTrader user who is starting to explore Quantower, I would find value in it.
@drtchock, that's a reasonable ask -- as more traders explore Quantower alongside their primary platform, a dedicated downloads section would make things a lot easier to find.
For now, the Platforms & Indicators forum is where Quantower discussion lives, including any shared indicators or tools.
One thing worth knowing as you make the jump from @NinjaTrader: Quantower has a development framework called Quantower Algo that uses C# with Visual Studio 2022 -- the same language as NinjaScript. If you've ever looked at NinjaTrader indicator code, the transition is more of a dialect change than a full rewrite. Their official dev docs are a solid starting point.
The platform is actively developed too -- recent additions include MACD-V, Triple EMA, and Internal Bar Strength, among others. The third-party indicator ecosystem isn't as mature as NinjaTrader's yet, but it's building.
I'll flag your suggestion about a dedicated section -- it's a practical request and worth raising.
Have a good weekend!
