What you can do and i personally use is to load this free indicator named "Tracking NT8" on your chart: It will prevent the bars to get squeezed too much vertically. As the numbers can become unreadable i use the vertical ruler to get the size i want manually and then the indicator will keep your fixed scale and just center the bars on the screen. Visit this page and scroll to the bottom of the page to see a bunch of free indicators. DiscoTrading is no longer available but the FootPrintV2 does automatically follow price if you use the chart in fixed scale. You can just set the optimsl scaling and FootPrintV2 even remembers the scaling when you switch between the standard chart and the two footprint modes.

Hey Mike. Awesome indicator from everything I see here. I have a problem that I can't seem to solve though. I have d/l it twice. Clicked the Yes option to all the pop ups. Tried it with Tick replay on and off. And I have seen a few people here with the same issue but no answer on how to resolve things. The indicator loads but the Footprint/Show option is Greyed out. and there is no menu that is accessible in the Top Bar. Has anyone come up with a reason/fix for this? Thanks

What NinjaTrader Version are you using? If you open an Output Window, do you see any errors?

I am using 8.1.5.2 of NT and there is nothing in the Output window

Hey Mike/mk77ch. I got into the code and managed to edit a few things to get it working. Even though the top bar options are grayed out, they do work. It is, as advertised - quite brilliant. I am trying to emulate the look you have on the chart you posted to the Indicators Section of NexusFI. If you have a moment to post settings, that would be great but if not, np, I 'll get it soon enough.

hi @mk77ch, many thanks for this indicator. i am experiencing the same issue that shortski encountered. nowhere near as adept at coding as shortski so appreciate your help to troubleshoot.

- the "Show" box under the Footprint section is grayed out.
- NT version 8.1.5.2
- Output 1 and Output 2 windows are both blank.
- i have Level 1 data only, but in an earlier post i read that this is actually better for the indicator.
- Tick Replay is enabled globally and in the chart window with the footprint indicator.
- have already reimported the ninjascript addon and restarted NT, to no effect.

Is this indicator only for NT8.1?

I tried to install it on NT8.0, and got this "Import failed" error message.
