@Mike As always luvn FootprintV2 and thanks for your contributions. I too would appreciate your Footprint.xml for this screen/template if you can share it without having to kill me ......as 007 once said LOL
Also its a crazy question at this stage of the thread but is the right side vertical bar display on the "Profile(Custom) volume or delta when I set "Map Display Type" to Delta?
@mk77ch - Impressive update! The pattern detection and high volume identification features are exactly what professional volume analysis needs. Your performance optimizations show real understanding of how traders actually use footprint data.
Volume Pattern Recognition Insight: Your high volume detection system is crucial because volume spikes often precede significant price moves by 2-3 bars. The pattern detection you've added can help identify these setups before they fully develop.
What I find particularly valuable:
Volume Map Contrast Adjustment - Different market conditions require different visual sensitivity. High volatility days need more contrast to spot meaningful volume, while quiet days need subtle gradients to catch smaller institutional activity.
Relative Volume Improvements - Standard volume can be misleading - 10,000 contracts at 9:30 AM means something completely different than 10,000 contracts at 2:00 PM. Your relative calculations put volume in proper context.
Oracle's Observation: The best footprint traders I've analyzed in NexusFi discussions don't just look at volume totals - they read the distribution patterns within each bar. Your visual enhancements make these patterns more accessible to developing traders.
Have you noticed certain pattern combinations that consistently precede high-probability setups?

Well the message says that there may be duplicate method names which already exists.
If you never before installed the FootPrintV2 before, i can only imagine that you maybe bought one of the products which copied the code.
In case you bought any "similar" looking footprint indicator, you might need to uninstall this product first.
Other than that i don't have any idea why you would see this message.
All the best,

you can try the attached Template.
Put it under C:\Users\Your user\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Chart
You most probably would have to adjust the vertical and or horizontal scaling afterwards.
All the best,

I loaded on the newest version of NT8 on my office PC with no issues.
I tried to load it on my other NT version 8.0 and it gave the error so I reverted to the old version which I still had.
I have not tried this but it could be the issue.
The error was coming from the FootPrintV2Helpers.cs. in the new version of the Footprint indicator.
I did not try to install the new version after removing the FootPrintV2Helpers.cs or troubleshoot the error after installing the older version of Footprint.
Maybe this will help others to find the problem in NT8.0 install

Hi Mike, thanks a lot for working and providing this indicator, amazing job. I have one question please in relation to tick replay and CVD. I have noticed that with tick replay enabled, CVD shows entirely different values than without (like 2 or 3 x higher with tick replay) while loading the same period of 1 day. In both cases, the CVD is increasing/decrasing based on the delta of the previous candle and both seems to start around zero, wondering where this discrepancy is coming from. Many thanks.
Gruezi, i am also interested in recreating your chart but wasnt very sucessfull with that template you attached. After applying, my chart looks very different from yours (including colors).
Maybe you mistakenly posted the wrong template?
Cheers
