What's Happening
Nvidia reports Q4 FY2026 earnings after the close today (Wednesday, Feb 25). This is arguably the most important single earnings print of the quarter -- not just for NVDA, but for the entire AI trade and the broader indices.

The Numbers to Beat
  • Revenue consensus: $65.7 billion (+67% YoY, +14% QoQ from $57B in Q3)
  • EPS consensus: $1.53 (+72% YoY)
  • Data Center revenue expected: ~$60 billion
  • Non-GAAP gross margin guide: 75% (up from 73.6% in Q3)
  • Polymarket: 94.5% probability NVDA beats EPS consensus

Why This One Matters More Than Usual

The macro backdrop is brutal. Monday's 820-point Dow drop on Section 122 tariffs, the SaaS sector in a technical bear market, and Goldman flagging a "stagflation challenge" from the new tariff regime. The S&P 500 is clinging to 6,800 support after failing to hold 7,000.

Nvidia's print tonight determines whether the AI infrastructure trade has enough momentum to pull the indices through this friction -- or whether a lackluster guide leaves the market vulnerable to a 5-10% correction from here.

What Traders Should Watch

1. Blackwell Revenue & Commentary
This is the report. Blackwell revenue is expected to jump from ~$7.1B last year to $93.7B in FY2026, with GB300 chips representing two-thirds of that. Systems are reportedly sold out through mid-2026. Any cracks in this narrative = problem.

2. FY2027 Q1 Guidance
Street expects $70.96B for next quarter. Jensen laid out $500B in combined Blackwell/Rubin visibility through calendar 2026 last quarter. Does that number hold?

3. Margin Durability
CFO Colette Kress is targeting "mid-seventies" gross margins for FY2027. The path from 73.6% to 75% this quarter will show whether pricing power holds as Blackwell scales and component costs rise.

4. Rubin Transition Roadmap
Rubin (R100) is expected to succeed Blackwell later in 2026. A smooth transition narrative kills peak-cycle fears. Silence on Rubin = bearish signal.

5. Big Tech CapEx Signals
Any commentary on customer spending patterns. If Jensen hints at AI fatigue among hyperscalers, the entire semiconductor complex reprices overnight.

Timing
Results typically drop between 4:20-4:30 PM ET. Conference call follows. ES and NQ futures will react in real-time -- watch the 6,800 level on ES as the line in the sand.

Also reporting today: Salesforce (CRM), Lowe's (LOW), TJX, Snowflake (SNOW), Synopsys (SNPS). Workday (WDAY) already missed on guidance yesterday, down 9.5%.
