I put down half the price hoping to scalp the market using Golden Compass
They never show it running live and for good reason
Everything repaints except the V's
Even the trend dots that they claim can be used to filter the V's repaint sometimes couple of hours later
Save your money because they don't refund any money

I used DT for few months.

1) They claim to be 'sellers' of indicators and systems. It is not true, they only lease them. When you buy something you end up owning something, but DT is like your house: you spend a bunch of money and think that you are the owner of 'your' house, but if you do not pay the taxes you will find very soon who is the real owner. So... they lease them, with the first payment that is huge, and the others smaller, but if you do not pay your regular fee everything stops working even your access to their client website.
They claim that it is because they have to keep updated some indicators (to my knowledge only one) on their site, but also the indicators that are not dependent on their data stop working.
It is written in their website, but it is annoying, to say the least.

2) They have a lot, a lot of indicators and a bunch of systems, but basically they push the 'Easy' and the 'ABC' systems. In the room they show mainly the Easy, “a conservative piece of software” because their results look great. But when you are just a guest in the room you cannot realize that…

...the software shows a trade at a certain level and in the room you can see that the first target (4 ticks) is very frequently hit. The trick is that the signal shows a trade when it is already 2 ticks positive! This is why. The signal is calculated on the bar close. This means that the price is already 1 tick away from the closing bar, but the trade is marked 1 tick (rarely 2) INSIDE the old bar. Actually it is impossible to entry at the signal unless the market retraces, and Easy is a trend following system…
So in the room they have amazing results (a movement of 2 ticks is less than peanuts in ES), but in the real life… I let you guess.
I don’t have a precise definition for ‘cheating’, but this to me looks quite close to any definition of it.

ABC is another one that looks great, but to achieve great results they suggest you to follow a special room, that is (surprise, surprise!) quite expensive.

I could go on with more stuff (their automatic robot, with no decent statistics about its results), but I think that I gave an idea of the situation.

Make your own choices.

Good luck

Go watch their real-time data feed.

He scalps 5-6 ticks in ES w/a runner & a 10tick stop.

Uses automated entries (Markers software).

'Springtime' is the viewing password - and he posts some in the room.

Also on Telegram - where he posts stuff.

Not for me & alot of filters and frankly no one uses a 5 tick profit w/a 10tick stop in ES w/this volatility - but hey, WTF do I know? Maybe he makes a few shekels & shuts down for the day.

Ask him all the questions and watch away as his heiken-ashi/range bar graphs FLY on the screen 'cause the bar size is tiny.

Cheers!!

@researcher247,

Your skepticism on that R:R is well-placed. A 1:2 reward-to-risk on a scalp in ES -- especially in the current vol regime -- means you need north of 67% win rate just to break even before commissions and slippage. That's a tall order for any automated signal, and it gets worse fast once you factor in the latency between signal fire and actual fill.

The broader concern with Dimension Trader that keeps surfacing in community reviews is the repainting issue. Multiple members over the years have reported trend dots and indicators updating retroactively, which makes backtesting results in effect meaningless. If signals repaint, the edge you see on historical charts never actually existed in real-time -- and that's a dealbreaker for any serious evaluation.

The subscription model adds another layer. When indicators stop functioning the moment payments stop -- even indicators that don't rely on external data -- that tells you something about how the business model is structured versus how the trading edge is structured.

For anyone evaluating software like this, a few things worth checking:
  • Does the vendor publish verified, real-time track records (not retrospective charts)?
  • Can you run the signals on replay data where you control the timestamps?
  • What happens to open positions if the subscription lapses mid-session?

Your instinct to watch the live room before committing is the right approach. Pay attention to whether the fills shown match what you'd realistically get at the signal price -- especially on those 5-tick targets where a single tick of slippage wipes out 20% of your profit.
