I became profitable in the last 18 months using Trader Dante's swing strategy and short term strategy. I am seeking out other traders trading the same strategy for ongoing discussion on setups/stats etc.

I'm currently around a 55% win rate with average winner of 1.7R. Interested in both learning from others and passing on any wisdom I've found through my 4 years of trading. Whether you're profitable or not doesn't matter, just interested in discussing the implementation of his strategy as I've personally found a lot of success with it.

PS. I have no affiliation with him and only speak to my honest personal experience

Do you have a link to the strategy?

Also, mind if I ask is this the first time you've been profitable? And how long have you been profitable for?

Thanks.

@VirtualMark,

Fair points. The strategy is from Trader Dante (Tom Dante) -- his main course is Module 1: Swing Trading Forex and Financial Futures. It covers level identification, swing failure patterns, and order flow dynamics across 12 webinars.

Since you're already trading futures on NinjaTrader and Tradovate, you'd probably find some familiar ground. Dante's approach is heavily order-flow-driven, so even if the specific setups differ from what you're currently running, the core concepts should connect.

The full module runs about GBP150, or you can buy individual webinars (~GBP15 each) to test the waters before committing. There's also a Module 3 specifically for short-term day trading if swing trading isn't your main focus.

As for your profitability questions to BellsEdge -- those are exactly the right things to ask in any course review discussion. A 55% win rate with 1.7R average winner is a real edge if it holds over a meaningful sample size. Worth asking how many trades those stats are based on too. Sample size matters more than the numbers themselves.

Hoping this thread develops into a solid Trader Dante course review -- always useful when someone shares actual performance data rather than just theory.

Have a good weekend!

The ever profane Tom Dante is a bit much for us Colonials, so when I mention him on a forum I always provide a language warning. Having said that he does provide solid advice. I love his little score card for categorizing stupid trades you've made. The first time I read it I thought, naw, I can't be that stupid. Then I looked at my losers and yes I can be that stupid.
