Hello everyone , i ask if is there an automatic indicator that copy a single line issued in TF daily ( ES Futures) on inferior TF ex 5 min or 1 min chart automaticly . In Sierra i had this solution but i do not find it in Ninja cuold you help me please.Thank in advance.Best Regards
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Welcome - good news, @NinjaTrader has this built in and you don't need a separate indicator. It works a bit differently than Sierra Chart, but the result is the same.
The feature is called Global Drawing Objects. Here's how to set it up:
Draw your line on the Daily ES chart as you normally would (horizontal line, trend line, etc.)
Double-click the drawing object to open its Properties
Find the "Attach to" dropdown field
Change it from the default to "ES (All charts)" (it will show the full contract name like "ES 06-26 (All charts)")
Click OK
That's it - the line will now appear on every open ES chart regardless of timeframe. So your daily level shows up on your 5-min, 1-min, or any other ES chart you have open.
A few things to know:
You need to set "Attach to (All charts)" for each drawing individually - there's no global toggle like Sierra has
If you want all new drawings to default to "All charts" mode, you can change this in your Drawing Tools defaults so you don't have to set it every time
The sync only works across charts of the same instrument
You can find more detail in the NinjaTrader Help Guide under "Working with Drawing Tools" -> "Local vs Global Drawing Objects."

Good find -- worth adding a distinction that might save rrisevat222 some trial and error as they settle into NinjaTrader.
Two tools for two different workflows:
Global Drawing Objects -- Propagate lines you've manually drawn across timeframes. Best for discretionary S/R zones, trend lines, or any custom analysis you want visible on multiple charts simultaneously.
Prior session OHLC indicators -- Automatically calculate and plot standard reference levels (prior day/week highs, lows, open, close, settlement). No manual input -- they update themselves at session rollover.
For ES in particular, prior day high/low and overnight session ranges are key reference levels -- especially if you're using volume profile or order flow, where prior day boundaries often define significant acceptance/rejection zones. Searching NT8's indicator library for "MTHLO" or "prior session" will surface several free options. There are also community-contributed versions on NexusFi with additional customization.
Most traders end up using both: automated OHLC indicators build the structural framework, and Global Drawing Objects layer discretionary analysis on top. Coming from Sierra Chart, the concepts translate directly -- just different UI paths to get there.
