Hey,
We have decided - because of your guys' feedback - to offer support for the free version. However, paid users will take priority over the free ones, but the dedicated free forum will be monitored. We don't guarantee a 24 hour turnaround on the MCDT forum, but we will do our best (our support always tries hard).
Free users can also come to the Live Chat, but if there is a line-up of paid users, it might be a wait. We are also drafting documentation for the free version, so you don't feel so lost
I spoke to MB Trading yesterday, and we reached an agreement for tighter integration, for the benefit of MC users and MB Trading users.
I will try the free demo thx

Here is the response from our engineers - check your registry, it should look like the
screenshot I attached to the post. Also check that the version of MbtCom.dll is not lower than 11.7.0.17 in the path that is in the screenshot.
If you need to, change CurrentDirectory, include the path where MB Trading MBNAvigatorPRo files are located. If the message disappears and the data stops coming in, send us the MC logs.
No luck for me, I'm trying the live support.

Yes, this feature can be tested with the free version. Data collection, data storage, data management, and charting are the same.

Your willingness to support the free version has convinced me. I have installed MC and will come back with questions. I am mainly interested in MC's capability to collect and display data correctly. This is the first step, and I guess this can be tested with the discretionary version.

My problem MBT/MCDT was solved by the online support in less than 10 minutes...
I had a bad definition: for EURUSD, it has to be:
Symbol: EUR/USD
Category: Forex
Exchange: Forex
Check screenshot .

The link to the free MC forum is
HERE , and you don't need to be registered (@
Poocher , please forget the link I sent you yesterday).
The link to the free version
here .
I'm unable to make it work with MB Trading, but works fine with IB.
If it was working correctly with MB Trading, it can be a great combo, no need to use the horrible MT4 for mini
lots .
Can we create and use a connection to Zen-Fire with this free version ?

They have announced (well in the forums at least) that millisecond time stamps are being introduced for stored data in V7.0 This is the main hurdle for the correct handling of historical data. Happy times.

Cool, i'll be able to check if the daily OHLC are different using MCDT vs Ninjatrader as Ninja gets completly false numbers for daily OHLC. I suspect Ninja considers the day starts at 9:30 which is obviously wrong.

I would be interested to know, whether MC can display daily data from Zenfire feed correctly.
