If you are going to use the "All you Need Wiz Style" template to trade the ES on a 4 range bar chart.....you might want to change the WMA period setting to 8.
Just want to thank you guys(Jeff, Sharky, Zeller, Dragon) for posting these indicators. This evening I finally configured a chart with them on it. I think if I had this chart shown at the time of my trades I'd probably wouldn't have taken them all. Take a look for yourself.
I ended up 5 pts for the day. I can't complain but I could have captured allot more.
I'm not sure if you are doing an experiment or something but...... you don't need more than two studies on the chart. One for trend and one for entries. We posted different versions so people would have a choice.
Just experimenting and checking these indicators out to see if they could give me an edge with entry and possibly exit points. I appreciate the information.
gregid, That's the DM(5) period. I changed the colors. the +DI (BLUE - indicating up trend if above the -DI(RED) and above the purple line. Downtrend if RED is above the Blue & above the purple line. White is the ADX indicating strength of the Up or Down trend. The higher the white line goes above the blue, the stronger the up trend. The higher the white line goes above the red, the stronger the downtrend. Curious that you noticed that. Yes, indeed, it does seem to indicate a choppy period when the red or blue is below the purple line (weak trend). If you don't have it, let me know I'll post it for you. Cheers.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
Can you post a screenshot of the list of indicators. I loaded the template but alot of them did not come up so I need to figure out what I should track down. Thanks.
