I did and they helped me out very well, all is working perfect, apologies for posting on the NT8 thread
Below is a copy of their answer. I did download too much (4GB :-(( )
Thank you for your great advice on that service.
Given that NT is largely focused on futures, I would love to have the ability to construct synthetic spreads 'instruments' instead of having to do it all in Ninjascript. I envision being able to select legs, ratio, quantity, quote handling, etc, and save that as an instrument that could be loaded up on a DOM or chart with proper bid/ask spreading. Basically what I am asking for is a cheaper alternative to TT autospreader.
It would be great if the Chart Trader orders went FULLY ACROSS THE CHART when we are moving them so that we can "AIM" them better and easier.
When ever we are moving an order around we lose our Crosshairs - so we lose the ability to know if we are putting the order right over the the high or low that we wanted on the far far left of the chart.
It would be great if the order just went Fully Across the Chart so that we can aim with it better.
It would make placing an order to a far far left wayyyy easier.
~And I know about the setting in Chart Trader that lets you set the orders to a "percentage of screen" and that we can set it at 100. But that leaves them across the screen 100% ALL the time and then they may kind of mix up visually and aesthetically with horizontal lines and levels of support and ressis.
Yea I know about that setting. Maybe some people don't know it.
but I didn't want the orders across the entire chart ALL the time because they will mix with current support and ressistance lines and other horizontal lines.
It is my understanding that NT8 will store bid/ask tick data will there be an addition of indicators like volume breakdown, footprint charts, etc that use that information or will we still have to go to third party programmers/vendors to get these indicators/charts ?
I noticed NT8 will have a freestyle scrolling feature by pressing the "ctrl" key and using the mouse to move around in time and price.
Please ditch the "press the ctrl key" requirement, its a real hassle. Every other software I know allows you to click an empty area of chart and drag around in time and price simultaneously without having to press a button, as it should be.
There is an indicator around that does this but its not ideal since it scrolls even when placing trend lines and such and who knows if it will be updated for NT8.
Please Please Please include a snapshot of the code that was ran in the strategy analyzer. During strat development I open new instances of strat analyzer to compare changes and get lost in what changes where made.
