Passive aggressive is the sign of a "beta". Threatening to leave FI? I agreed 100% with what Mike put forward for trade verification. What is wrong is that despite wanting to help people I cant divide my time to be concerned with or respond to people that post like you do.
The "issue" with the new offering is making it worth my time. There is a balance between financial remuneration to me and the amount of time I'd need to communicate to deliver for people that are paying for my content. The paradox is that to make it financially "worth it" the equation would have to easily cover $500 per hour of time invested to even think about it. To do a reasonable job presenting and allow time for specific responses I think I'd need a minimum of 10 hours a week. So, a basic cba would dictate that I'd need to see a clear and quick way to $20,000 a month to consider the endeavor. That would take about 700 subs at $29 my end.
As it relates to you specifically, you have made less than 20 posts in over a decade of "participation" here...so IMO you have some set of balls coming at me with contempt.
I am having a discussion with a person who I would hire to moderate participation. She would curate content, post general responses, and organize events associated with my "room". Also part of that role would be to filter spurious, non-germane responses...sort of ride herd on the mashugana. I'm also considering partnership with other forum members past and present as that would be additive to valuable content while managing the time investment that a high quality "room" deserves.
Being bid back by you is just not something that I can regularly divide time for. So, take the last word and do what you need to do.
Sure. Being bid back buy smart ass comments that are non-germane to the discussion points. Tone is hard to interpret in the typed word and I am not an overly sensitive person, but every time I come to the forum in recent years I get a bunch of undeserved shit cast my way.
Points that are shared as a "net" to capture the attention of people that might benefit do not generate any interest. Yet I always manage to find folks that want to bid me back like I'm some kind of idiot in here trying to bamboozle folks with wrong or misleading information.
Guys have said that some of the posts have too much assumptive language and jargon and that a typical member does not always see the point being made. IDK.
I remember teaching the "introductory class" to potential new white belts. That was, of course, part of the process for me as well as for them. Saying, "last word to you" is the same as "bowing out" to the guys that want to sign up for the "fight team" because it looks pretty cool on TV.

I generally will only post in my own journal or respond to a specific question where I have been tagged. I do read many different threads that contain good insight but it is hard for me to manage more that a few conversations at once.
Is LLM going to be used for analyzing statements? If so, is it a self hosted model (you don't have to name the specific model, or will statement be sent to 3rd party hosted models like ChatGPT, Claude, etc.?
