Markets Chat is a project that I have dreamed up for quite a long time, but am now actually putting it into practice. Don't worry about NexusFi, as the two platforms don't overlap so no need to worry about where resources will be focused.

Great question! We will create a new class of vendor that only applies to Markets Chat creators, so you'll be labeled but with a link to your room and no restrictions on discussion -- because we want NexusFi to remain the place for discussions to take place.
Clarified initial post to make it clear that trade room operators/creators completely control the price of their room, within our guidelines which are:
Floor = free, no cost
Ceiling = max of $99/mo
So if you decide $49.99 a month and have 100 followers, it's $49.99 x 100, split 50/50, for net of $2500/mo to you. Remember, we handle the credit card fees and taxes, so you don't have to.
We will send an annual 1099, or if you are foreign we will just need a W8-BEN form declaring you are not a US citizen. I'm not a lawyer but this is my understanding today.
1. I had to read your post several times now to understand that when you say "Markets Chat provides the software platform... etc." you don't mean the "trading platform (NT, SC, etc.), but the chatroom software that is providing this chat capability. The presenter provides their own charts.
Yes, this is obvious and is just me being dumb, but I may not be the only one. My eyes saw "software platform" and my mind read "trading platform".

I think this can be very useful for people who either want to easily share their trading and/or ideas, and for people who want to offer commercial trading services. Which raises another question:
I read the part about "Built with the same moderation and content guidelines as NexusFi." Does this mean preventing it from being used for promotional purposes by vendors selling their "Sure-Fire Profit System for the low, low price of x thousand dollars"? Since a huge part of the moderation on NexusFi is tossing out the scammers, I assume so.
I wish you luck with this. I think it will fill a niche that is under-served.

Markets Chat platform is not a trading/charting platform but rather a chat platform where we bring many trade rooms under one roof (ours). We let our 15-years of experience, running an extremely well moderated NexusFi, to act as our guide.
Since I am in charge of all payments, I can start by offering the money-back guarantees. You won't have to depend on a vendor to give you this, it will be automatic and within my control.
I am in charge of price guidelines, so a creator can create a new chat and start sharing their screen, and they can do so for free. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars to Zoom or GoToWebinar, we will instead offer our platform free of charge.
For the creators that wish to charge for their room, we set a ceiling of $99 to keep it in-line with my own beliefs for what is best for the average trader. We'll provide the audience, platform, technology, subscription management, merchant services, taxation, and all of that so the creator can focus on creating.
I don't pretend to have an answer for every conceivable situation so far, but creators will be given freedom to control content as they see fit but within our guidelines. We will set some rules forward about false promises and the like.
So if a popular Twitter-trader with 10,000 followers wants to start up a room, they can do it with a few clicks and have it be open and free to everyone. Or they can set a price.
For another trader that just has 5 friends they want to share with casually, no problem. We are here for you to do that and to do so easily.
