The ES had good movement today but I was busy with other business. I could have exited my first long with a limit order but I thought we would retest 1296. The first afternoon trade I thought I might be early and was so I exited my position quick. The second entry was one I would take again but was a loser.
Today I was busy with morning meetings again. The ES could not break the 1279 area and I went long twice. I love to see an area that is retested and can not be broke, trapping one side to cover there postions. I had a great entry price but the exited was to early, I wanted to exit closer to 1296 but the ES started moving against me a little as it retest a over night high.
I had a couple of order mistakes but the end result was good. The first trade was a retest of the 1276 level with a retest failure but 1273 held and the longs squeezed the late shorts like me out. I love that trade but I have always had a hard time changing direction fast. The last trade was also a retest failure at 1278 area but this time the shorts won and price moved to my target, the LOD(Low of the Day).
Not a good day at all two bad trades and one Ok trade. The worst thing was I didn't roll to sept. I was trading the June contracts and I was wondering if I had a bad internet connection because of the way the ES was moving.
We here is the results -2.00pts 2 losers and one winner
I faded the maket twice after micro bias was broke (NOT A SMART MOVE). I don't want to start to go backwards after some success.
I 've missed two days of prep and trading because of a computer virus that took out two of my trading stations and also took over my email account.
But back on track now.
The ES held the 1254 area and is moving up to test the 1290 level if it can break through a small resistance at 1276.
But if we retest fail at 1276 then we should move back down to 1254
The euro is correcting from a hugh leg down and is sitting at 50% a retest failure and a break of mirco bias (1.4250 area) should start the move back down to 1.405. If the euro builds a base around 1.4250 and holds, we should move up to test 1.45
