Maybe if you had charts like mine you could see that we had nice
Divergence on both lows, I also had Fibs in the 695 area and 1180 for ES so this was a must buy for me as this was what I was waiting for.
Yes, I trade divergence, but I wasn't in the market at that time either. Looks like you are trading 3 or 5 min chart?
I was done for the day at that point earlier. I was way too 'aggressive' in 'forcing' the market.
It seems I have 2 modes.
1, scarcity, in-out, never hold TP & move stops
OR
2, way too patient and forcing the market and being a victim in the process!!! haha...
I am ok with today, I knew I was 'experimenting' and it could be risky. Life goes on...
I am curious though, which FIB? I didn't have a fib (mid to long term) where it bounced except maybe an 89%.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

I forgot that it was thanksgiving week. My rules say to not trade the entire week of a major holiday. Yesterday was a mistake, but that is what I get for not being concious.
A nice 6 day break, may not even look at charts, dunno.

Take some time off... come back with a fresh set of eyes.. The charts always look better after a break..

I told my wife last night I was taking 6 days off without looking at charts.... she started laughing hysterically.
Yes, I think I already broke my rule.
Usually what I do is "Ok, step 1, no looking at charts"
Step 2, "Well, I will look at Forex Charts.. that doesn't count"
Step 3, "hmmm. I wonder if the same thing happens on the TF"
Step 4, "looking at the charts again..."
haha...

Ha ha. I am guilty of that nightly! My 4 steps....
Step1, it's midnight, I need to go to bed..
Step2, let me run one more test....
Step3, wow those results are good.... Wonder what would happen if I change this...
Step4, its 1:39 am; my head hits the keyboard!! I now have A S D F G H across my forehead!

Yes, and then there is the "Well, if I don't finish this test, then I may forget my great ideas..."
And, of course your brain doesn't function as well at that time and etc. but of course your decision making is flawed.
Funny how it has changed.
10 - 15 years old (Come on Mom, can I please stay up and play my Atari/Nintendo a little longer!!!)
15-30 years old (Come on, one more drink before we head out, man she is hot!!)
30-40 years old (Wow, I will be the richest man in the world with one more backtest !!!)
40-50 years old (dude, what happened to the last 10 years?)
haha....

lol I am at the "Wow, I will be the richest man in the world with one more backtest!!!" stage.
Cant tell you how many times I have gotten up out of bed because of this: "Well, if I don't write it down , then I may forget my great idea..."

What is the indicator at the bottom of your chart please? I didn't see that divergence with my indicators.

Larry, what is this oscillator on your chart? Is it public or proprietary?
