Reduced the limit at which in-line images are re-sized. Previously, images up to 760px were shown full-size, and larger was reduced to 760px. Now, it is 650px.
Added a new poll on the forum home page, and added a new survey under "Community -> Surveys". I will be updating these often, every couple of weeks or so, so keep checking back.
Further enhanced the Show Attachments feature for each thread.
You can get to this on the top-right of any thread, next to the pagination section there is a number next to a paperclip, it represents the number of attachments in the thread. You can also get to this by clicking Thread Tools -> Show Attachments on the top of a thread. Last, you can get to it from the list of threads in the forum view by clicking the paperclip next to the title of the thread.
@ZTR has been asking for some of these enhancements. It's taken a while but the programmer got them done ahead of schedule. You can enable/disable the inclusion of image attachments in the search results, to make it easier to find the "meat" in a thread (cs files, zip files, etc). You can short any which way. And clicking on the attachment will take you straight to that post in the thread.
BTW, I just want to show what the default looks like on other forums. Not picking on them. Well, maybe a little!
So you can see how ours is very advanced, and it should really help you find stuff. Don't forget you can also use the Search Global Attachments feature, mentioned above in this thread to help you search for attachments by keyword.
Thank you @Big Mike. This is really advanced and should make finding attachments and the associated posts so much easier to find.
Whoever takes on the task of moving attachments to Downloads will have a much easier time copying the information from the post describing the attachment into the download section. I am willing to help, a little, if needed.
