Years with Mirus coming to an end. After further evaluation the continuum connection is decent at best. Execution has some strange lag sometimes as long as 2+ seconds. Minor spurts of data during any pick up in vol. Fills on orders in book have been fine but the routing lag is very strange considering I've never had any problems in past and am on 100+mbps down, 5+ mbps up and ping <10. Who knows whats going on and at this point I just don't care anymore. Bottom line, I've been patient long enough. Challenges happen but I've just been consistently disappointed in how everything has been dealt with and communicated. It seems I'm not the only one.
Did a lot of research and have decided to move to Optimus Futures. Matt and his team have been extremely helpful. Rithmic data feed is solid and also has the clean bid/ask data needed. Besides helping with the obvious issues there have been some more complicated issues that they have already gone above and beyond with. Can't say enough so far, looking forward to a clean connection and team that I can rely upon.

Hello FDAX traders,
I would very much appreciate if the traders, who trade FDAX at Mirus with Continuum could confirm briefly, that it is now 100% stable for trading in order to avoid a 2nd debacel.
Calls to Mirus go unanswered after a 5 minute wait. So I sent my account rep an email and will keep trying them via phone. But I think I need to open an account elsewhere.
I was in the same boat as you, now with Dorman directly, no intro broker, using Multicharts on CQG and its a fine, fast feed. They tried to get me going on Rithmic, which was also presented as an option, but there was some tech issue and I got tired of waiting after all the other Mirus hassles, so linked to CQG and was running in 30 minutes.
For Multicharts you need an API plugin specifically for CGQ installed on your computer, then it works.
Mirus doesn't answer the phone, and my account rep didn't reply to my email (maybe he jumped ship), but they did reply to my email via the website within a few hours.
I'm not satisfied with this and will open an account elsewhere. Next step is to get my money back from Mirus/RCG/Dorman.
I won't be surprised if they eventually say they couldn't convert me. For one I'm in France, I don't know if that has any impact on it or causes a delay.
This all happened quickly and have been up and running again for nearly 2 weeks.
If you are changing broker (and I have now also split my funds by sending some to AMP) you will find it is quicker to get your new broker to do it for you.
AMP gave me a PDF of an account transfer form. I completed it and scanned it to AMP Monday night. When I woke up Tuesday morning AMP had already forwarded it to Mirus/Dorman and the funds were moved from Dorman and appeared in my AMP account by the close of play Tuesday US time - ie really fast transfer.
