Thanks for yourcomment and I agree with your point above. Having a quick look at the E2T AMA thread they still reply there quite regularly.
I would of thought that as Topstep was the original retail funding company, so have been around the longest, and are one of only two funding companies that have AMA threads here, there would be a benefit to maintaining a friendly human presence on this forum.
Considering how many customer service enquiries they must deal with as a company each day surely it wouldn't be that difficult to task somebody to have a look here every few days or week and then answer the occasional question that comes up. That seems like a quick and simple "win" to me rather than having a thread where people are invited to ask the company questions but then find they are just ignored.
You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
TopStep promised a lot of things that didn't come true (Big micros combine- 300k virtual account); 10 micros = 1 Mini
They have lost any credibility when many new rules have been introduced
Particularly this one, that is a joke
In the Funded Account® & Premium Funded Account® traders can request a withdrawal of up to 50% of their account balance after accumulating 5 winning trading days per withdrawal request. A winning trading day is counted when a day’s Net PNL is $100 or more
They are covered from any loss thanks to the Trailing Maximum Drawdown rule, but you can't withdraw all your money.....
My name is Nick and I am the new Social Media and Community Coordinator at Topstep. I was very recently apart of the Customer Service team there so if you have called in before there is a good chance we have already spoken! It appears we have not been active in this forum and I look to change that as futures.io is a staple of the trading community. With that being said, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about program. Also, please remember that Topstep has a fully staffed U.S. based Customer Service team that can answer any questions for you either over the phone or through email, there is never a reason to speculate about the rules, our team would be more than happy to answer any questions. I look forward to being apart of this community and representing Topstep.
Dear Michael, I mean Nick, thank you for offering to answer any question. I am going to hold you to that statement by asking a question that is probably not expected, but I felt it will be allowed since you kindly agreed to us asking you anything. Please, stop spamming me with silly ads on youtube and other media. You are wasting valuable ad revenue on me.
Cheers,
Sody

it says for a limited time, we get to keep $10k before the 80:20 profit split by going with the pro account.
is this deal still available? and does keeping the first $10k still apply to the swing micros combine? and if not, what's the threshold for the swing micros combine?
since the original threshold for the swing micros combine is $2500, i assume under the limited time deal, it would be $5k?
Unfortunately, the advertising algorithm has a mind of its own. I do believe when you see an ad there might be an option to show that you are not interested and you should stop receiving those. I have had friends who don't even trade but are in proximity to a conversation about Topstep and they have received ads. Crazy times!
We are still running that promotion for all Pro Accounts. This includes the Swing Trading Combine. So if you elect to get into the Pro Account from either the Swing Trading Combine or the Trading Combine the first $10,000 you withdrawal will be yours and then the 80/20 split will kick in after that.
So by posting about the ads, I probably just made the problem worse, sigh..
Thanks, Michael, I mean Nick.
