Anyone having success using the TTE with the Ross Hook? I just finished reading "Daytrading" and I thought the book was well written. It seems extremely simple...is it difficult to plot real-time?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
hi, could you please send me a proper nt indicator rosshook123? not that cs file (that you posted in the forum) but the zip - I m somehow unable to import cs into my nt. thx.
1. You have to save the RossHook123.cs file to: MyDocuments\NinjaTrader7\bin\Custom\Indicator. (You'll see many other files in cs format)
2. Open NT7.
3. From the Control Center, select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select RossHook123. 4. Double click on it.
5. A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicator.
6. Once compiled, you can see it in the Indicators box.
The ross hook is definitely a strategy for one day candles. I have used it with some success down to 4H candles. Its a good way to get a low risk entry.
I just started using NinjaTrader 7 and i am really loving it.
I already installed .ZIP ninjatrader scripts, but this one available by Zondor is in the .CS format.
Could someone help me how to install it and plot it in the chart?
Here's a link to an updated .zip version where I corrected the plot color disappearing act that happened in the original version when you reload a chart.
