ATM's work server side so if any platform is disconnected, the server will handle. This is in beta at this stage. There is a new multi-provide mode, if this is enabled under Tools > Options, you can't use server side ATM's in your NinjaTrader Brokerage account. The reason is with multi-broker, non NT Brokerage accounts still have to use client side ATM's and these are different in functionality than server side and we don't have a way to solve for mixing the two in the platform.
Regarding Multi-Broker not showing up in your account Dashboard, can you DM me with the email used to register your Dashboard account as well as your license key, I will escalate to look into.

If you are referring to the prior NT8 version (not NT7) then they would need to install 8.1 and register for an account at ninjatrader.com, the credentials they create are used to login to the Desktop for two week simulation. We don't offer two week data trials for NT7 or < NT8.1 any longer.

What's this nonsense? I am lifetime license user with a forum account. Now you require me to sign up to some new site so that I can download updates to the desktop platform which I understand is now going to require me to log in even when offline?? The sign up for the "new" platform account link doesn't work so I can;t even sign up anyway. I already signed up when I bought my original licence years ago so would Ninjatrader please let me know why the original account details weren't transfered over to the "new" account and also where the old account details are being held and if they are no longer being used by Ninjatrader then will they be getting destroyed?
Be very interesting to see what telemetry is going on with this new setup, would NinjaTrader care to elaborate on what telemetry is taking place, what and where data is being sent from the desktop platform too. Thanks
If anyone is running the new desktop and has Wireshark handy be interesting see what and where the packets are heading to.
- If you are running into problems signing up, please send an email to our support team as they will be best qualified to help
- We have your account details, the sign up is asking you to create a user name and password, your license details will then be transferred over either via a manual process that you invoke through importing your license key OR if you install the latest 8.1 overtop the previous version, it will import your license key automatically
- On logon, Desktop validates credentials against servers in the Google cloud

ok thanks for reply. What telemetry is being sent?
If I want to work offline does the new system require an online login before I can access the desktop platform or can I still access the desktop platform in an offline environment?
I started a new setup, new download & new NT 8.1.1.1 install:
exactly the same for me. After registering for a new dashboard-account, I cannot import my old license key into the dashboard! I started a support ticket and I'm probably not the only one...

If you logged into NT Desktop with your new credentials, it automatically imports your license key.
