I been using equivolume charts with success while sim trading the NQ. Here were my trades today. I find it much easier to read than any other way of looking at volume (weis wave, volume profile, delta volume etc.) but everyone's eyes are different.
There is a Candle Volume Chart Style for NT here on futures.io (formerly BMT) that I use sometimes. It is basically the same as euivolume and works very nicely.
early view, range development and currently at mid-point. several reports at 7:30am central
and new contract trading. may get wild early on. stay safe trade well.
Something I recognized on the Nq. Interestingly same pattern so far. There was a higher high prevailing and the 20dma was also mid range of the downbar. Almost identical volume and range. It was the 13. of January whilst today is the 13. as well
Nevertheless, the general picture looks way more toppish than on January.
on stocks they were banging the close yesterday. on 15m es one can see volume surging before market close without managing to break range; overnight they were tripping stops above.
