Thanks for checking .. smile .. I have not come across many signals and only did one this morning (first trade this week). Unless 6E picks up, I will probably do a monthly recap in end Jan lol!
Nelson has a training week .. back home quite often after 11:00 pm .. sigh .. Will decide if he's going to give it a try .. still 100% commission based direct sales. We both need to adapt to his "long" schedule.
I am from Russia and I just began to use Ninja. Please help me.
I have downloaded WizardsDen.zip file. But I can't understand how I can apply it in Ninja to receive the same indicators and chart view. Could you explain detailly how you import his file?
Thank you for your attention
dimkrinichny
File --> Tools --> Import Ninja script, then choose WizardsDen.zip from where you saved.
It should say "imported succesfully".
then go to chart, right click -> indicators,. find wizard
Thanks Emini Holy Grail for addressing Dimkrinichnyi's raised issue. If you have any further questions on the system, you may want to post on The Wizard's thread as follows:
This thread has a number of setups dating all the way back to 2010 (NinjaTrader 6.5). I was in my experimental / learning phase (and in some respects, still am!)
Many things have changed since then. Best to scroll down to the last page in the thread …
I identified less than 5 signals this week .. at least according to my "rules". Took 1 as I was a little slow in catching 2 lol!
I added CL to my radar list as 6E has been quite choppy/slow. Very often it did not retrace enough to trigger a signal. For the coming week, I will pay more attention to CL and may consider 1 trade/morning. Trading time remains unchanged (often starts at 8:00 am) and I will consider CL trades only from 9:00 am onward on most days except Friday. According to Fat Tails' analysis, Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 am EST is the best trading time for CL. Thanks Fat Tails!
I trade according to my entry rules .. very conservative. Not many signals yet I always remind myself that even 1 good signal/day will be great. 6E could be very active .. yet I will not jump in based on "nothing" from my book.
Are you still trading eminsniper? Did you add any additional filters to their rules that decreases your number of signals? I understand that they have not been having too many signals in the past couple of weeks either in the room. The method trades deep retracements; if you want more signals, you might want to look at trading shallower retracements to the next lower MA as well. I know the moderators have mentioned that a couple of times in the room. This will allow you to trade the more inpulsing moves of strong trends, and get an additional set of signals. I know traders who make a living just trading retracements to that very common smaller MA. You can still trade those new signals conservatively, you will just be adding an additional set of signals to potentially trade, so more trading opportunities. But, no guarantee that those additional entries will be more successful though.
Thanks Monpere for your kind suggestion. Yes, I am aware of the next lower MA IF I want more signals. Unfortunately, it does not meet my trading preference. I have been using DX to confirm a 6E signal. If both instruments do not align, I will give the 6E signal a pass. Plus I only consider the divergence ones.
Continue enjoying your weekend + a great week ahead.
