Some maintenance was performed today on our SSL certificates for renewal of various domains (bigmiketrading.com, bmcharts.com). There should be no issues, but please report any problems.
Yes -- just a service restart, lasted just a few seconds for most people. I usually try to do maintenance Friday night (lowest usage) but catching up and need to do as I can right now.
Some MySQL tweaks tonight have improved page load performance for some trouble pages, like the Downloads section. Just happened to come with an upgrade tonight, still no plans for major improvements on this framework -- most effort is directed towards new framework, still. (slowly)
Maybe it is just me but it seems as if in the last few days the initial loading of the site takes longer.
I've tried it on 4 different computers with the same result.
I thought maybe it was because of the site change and it was not in my cache but it seems as if even after visiting the site and then coming back, it is still slower.
I can't say it is so slow it is unusable but it is slower than normal.
No fix needed for me, just wanted to report it incase others have this issue.

A few months ago or so I noticed an odd thanks count, can't remember exactly on whose thread, but this new user had been thanked a few times and his thanks received count was off, by a handful of thanks.
I've seen this a few times over the years, and I recall seeing it a day or two ago. It's definitely not new behavior. It also doesn't happen all the time. I just checked the count for 's post above, added a Thanks and did a refresh, and the count incremented correctly. So there's some unusual circumstance that makes it happen, when it does.
I'm not sure, but I think I recall that it tends to self-correct -- that is, the count catches up; I'm not sure what event happens to catch it up, however, and I don't have an example at hand to check it. I don't recall now why I came to that conclusion, I just remember that I did.
Perhaps if you go back now and check the count for the one you found, you can verify that it came back in sync, or that it didn't.
