I know what you mean, for some reason I'm experiencing the same thing. I will be more focused on staying in the bigger moves from the best spots.. I think with all the prattling on we're doing we kind of get sidetracked a little. I think we just need to really pinpoint the spots we're going to get in and let it ride.
BASICS BASICS BASICS..... (I guess not only me but pretty much everyone thinks like him)
1. The markets are not random. I don't care if the number of academicians who have argued the efficient
market hypothesis would stretch to the moon and back if laid end to end; they are simply wrong.
2. The markets are not random, because they are based on human behavior, and human behavior,
especially mass behavior, is not random. It never has been, and it probably never will be.
3. There is no holy grail or grand secret to the markets, but there are many patterns that can lead to
profits.
4. There are a million ways to make money in markets. The irony is that they are all very difficult to find.
5. The markets are always changing, and they are always the same.
6. The secret to success in the markets lies not in discovering some incredible indicator or elaborate
theory; rather, it lies within each individual.
7. To excel in trading requires a combination of talent and extremely hard work-(surprise!) the same
combination required for excellence in any field. Those seeking success by buying the latest $300 or even
$3,000 system, or by following the latest hot tip, will never find the answer because they haven't yet
understood the question.
8. Success in trading is a worthy goal, but it will be worthless if it is not accompanied by success in your
life (and I use the word success here without monetary connotation).
dunno if this helps anyone.. but for the overnight trading TF is looking at a tgt of 693.5 that is if it continues to go down.. on its way down it might have to deal with 701 & 698.. once 698 breaks it could freely fall down till 693.5.. just what i see....
Forgot to add this just realized this if mkt breaks to the upside meaning if it crosses 703 then the chance to hit 693.5 are slim tonite but if it breaks 703 it could react around 705ish & retrace now if this retracement breaks 703 chances are it will deal with 701 make a dbl bottom react as a dbl bottome reacts most of the time.. but @ this stage 703 should get sold then after it goes down it has to deal with 698.. again it should react a few ticks & possibly make 701 resistance.. if this all happens chances are 693.5 will get taken out... These are probabilities that could happen I have upside probabilities too.. but ill share a basic one.. TF gaped down today & chances are it will fill that gap afterhours or tomorrow trading hours.....Have more to share but sorry not enough time on my hands......

EMD chart for you pinbar guys...first one a no-brainer worth 8+ points. second was good too but I don't like that it didn't retrace back enough but....

side note for you new guys that think you need all those fancy indicators and flashing lights and bells and whistles....notice there isn't anything but a few pivots and some good old fashioned p/a...it works !
Hey Bugs, I did get a couple trades from your stuff..forgot to thank you. I'm still in this wierd universe where I seem to hit that average I spoke about earlier with you and it still puzzles me how that happens...I can't believe I'm a isolated case on this. At least it's a positive number. One last note, I made some more $ on 6e tonight already...locked in. will look to flip at discussed areas
Just wanted to thank you for this thread. I've gone through it and have enjoyed integrating your #s into my trading strategy. That's what I like about futures.io (formerly BMT), there's always something to benefit and learn from. Thanx!
Everyday above ground is a good day.. so everyday green in trading is a good day... Time will come when you exceede what you are making already... Patience is key..... & time will tell.... Wish you best of Luck.
I got a few good trades today but, I guess I really want to vent a little. I'm on a world record streak for missing entrys by one tick, must have had 4 misses today along with all the other ones I've had the past week or so. This is getting ridiculous, it's not funny anymore. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem ?
that makes two of us.i have learned my lesson because yesterday
i missed the big drop of 30 points in the es contract...
so from here on i think i should place my contracts at market point.
