There is one more complex query on the homepage that's responsible for roughly 30% of the remaining load time. I am going to work with the dev to get that one optimized and cached as well, it's related to the statistics block.

Got it
The homepage is now averaging around 0.11 to 0.14 seconds, after the last optimization and caching of a query for the most recent new users (last 5). This info will be cached for one hour.
This query before:
Time Taken: 0.15682 seconds
And now is zero, cached, so that effectively doubled the speed of the homepage.
Please let me know if you can notice the speed improvement...

Really happy with the performance tweaks, Google was showing an average of 205ms before and today it's 105ms, effectively doubling the performance of the average page with our new caching techniques site-wide.
