A "Back To Top" button at the bottom of each web page so I don't have to scroll all the way back (to the menu on top of a page) every time I red the last post of a thread (which often can be quite a long page).
An alternative would be to keep the menu visible (static) on top of the screen.
On the "New Posts"-window an option to go to the 'Last Post' (so I don't have to scroll down passing posts already read) and an option to 'Omit' (mark as read) without opening the thread (because I don't want to open each thread to get it out of the new posts list but still want to see when something is posted).
So did dark mode ever get rolled out? If so, how do you access it?
When I'm using my 24 inch screen the text is big enough to easily read, but when I switch to my 16 inch laptop the white background with the light gray text just doesn't have enough contrast to easily be able to detect the edges of the letters and make out the words without squinting. Where other pages with the same size letters but more contrast is easily readable. It's just one of those things as you get older your eyes need more contrast to be able to detect the edges of the letters and make out the words.
The reason dark mode is currently not on the table: the designer that was helping me build the framework needed behind the scenes quit the project. Sucks.
But that made me reassess and dark mode is something of a luxury with relation to work vs reward.
