I have to agree with SunTrader Beefheart and Will That Tradestation is a bad company and they are going in the wrong direction. Their customer support is poor at best, their data at times is awful, their product is a buggy piece of junk that still is …
I created the above thread to solicit more official Tradestation presence in our community, but what has transpired so far in the thread is a lot of unhappy TS members posting their experiences.
Anyway, I do not want to take us off-topic. It is important to choose the right broker. Just make sure you really take time to research said broker as much as possible.
I just got off the phone with the NT TradeDesk. Basically, at this point they are making refund requests for anyone that closed out positions they didn't recognize. But they have so many that they are just advising everyone to wait to hear back from Phillip.
And to be fair these are GHOST orders and not partially filled/not yet closed trades. I was done on Friday at 10AM and shutdown my system.
Sunday's support email show me i was LONG at a price where I DID NOT trade any contracts.
This was not mis-matched entries/exits. These are EXTRA orders/positions. In my case I had an entry, and a stop filled, completing a trade. Then a position was still displayed, a ghost position.
If it was a execution pairing issue I would have showed flat, but my per-trade reports would have been way off
It isn't quite a terminology thing. The order were placed by the trader. They weren't invented. The offsetting orders to close those trades didn't upload.
I'm not trying to be rude to hijack the thread, but I would like to make sure that people reading this aren't misinformed. There is no evidence that trades are showing up out of nowhere. They are simply not offset with other orders that the trader may have entered and have been filled, but aren't reflected in the various execution feeds.
Cheers!

Ok. Without reconciling everything that took place since Wednesday, it is hard to say what happened in your case.
In either case, I completely understand the frustration and I would be frustrated as well. My goal is to inform those who are dealing with this without creating more confusion. Hopefully, your broker is on top of this and can get it resolved.
Best of luck!

I wish this were the case. But i did grep through all of the trade execution log for the past 20 days and never found a "single" entry/order by those values.
So yes there is evidence that these trades have showed up out of nowhere.
We will work with Phillip Capital to ensure that none of our customers will be faced with a financial loss resulting from the outage/inaccurate trade data. As of others have posted, give us the patience and time we need to work through this.
