This is my first weekend with open positions.
Should I close out my short positions? That Sunday gap can be severe at times
This strong bullish move has me concerned and we are at big support around 3400-3500...

Perhaps. But, I took shorts just now on the double top (which then became triple top) and made some nice gains.
I'm flat now, but I feel it may pop down quite a bit. I just woke up late, haven't eaten, dogs need to be fed , etc, so I am calling it a day.

If you are questioning it, then yes IMO you should close because you are simply unprepared for what may come.

I've been looking to get short on that area of confluence there as well. I'm thinking it makes some push to the downside at some point?!?
I'll probably just be packing it in till Monday as well.

Do you guys have a rule for when to start on Sunday?
Is it safe by Tokyo, or do you wait for London / Monday ?

I usually wait for London on Sunday night trades, but rest of days typically Tokyo onward is fine for me. It's relative, there is no definitive answer - sometimes it is moving pre-Tokyo, other times barely moving on London open.
If you closed your shorts and we gap down 1 million points don't be mad at me But if we gap up 1 million points then you can buy me a beer...

Had an early temptation to close the trade @ 21 ticks Bailout TP .... eventually got my 31 ticks Target 1 hit.
Attachment 50089
Now, faithfully waiting for my 100 ticks Target 2 to be hit @ the 33s .... in the alternative, I'll close the trade on a profitable "tick-note" to end my trading week on a good note.
A large account capital is desirable for this whirled instrument ... and to be able to set a larget SL.

You could trade it on the forex side instead of the futures side, for $1/pip or even less with some brokers.
