Another small update, our webinars landing page will now show if you are already registered for the event -- no more guessing whether or not you registered.
This goes into effect starting now, so if you registered prior to this post -- it won't reflect it. But rest assured, your registration is still valid.
I would love to solve it, but the issue is with our SEO software in vBulletin, the way it handles redirects and #post tags, it's simply impossible to solve this currently. It will be all fixed at one point when we finally roll out the new forum software.
I got the email for the scaling-in poll and clicked the "Yes, I like this topic" button. It Wwent to the feedback page OK, but I found 2 things:
1. The feed back page is set up as if it's for an event registration, which this was not.
2. When I typed in my feedback text and clicked "Submit," nothing happened. No indication it was received, or that I needed to select any of the items in the dropdown, or anything else. I think it ought to let me know that it was received or that I should do something....
(I clicked on the link at the bottom to return to the events home page, and that's where I went. But I was not actually "returning" there because I didn't come to this page from there....)
I need to make further improvements. I believe your issue was not choosing an actual rating on the drop down boxes.
This is a left over form from years ago for webinar feedback, I will redo it soon. Today if I can.
We do receive the vote (basically a +1 or -1 score) when you load the page, from the newsletter button, which was our primary goal to measure interest.
When you arrive on the page, we record your thumbs up/down automatically. But you then have the option to give us additional detailed feedback in three categories, plus a comment box.
You should be seeing something like this, and each of the three questions has a star rating to the right -- you can rate us on a scale. We're hoping to gather feedback for each event.
I will continue to improve this as well, just now I tried to improve the visuals.
Please confirm that you are seeing the page like this:
It looks like you get half a star if you click more on the left side of the star, rather than the center. (I'm not totally sure, due to the colors being fairly low-contrast.)
