Hi ,
It is something to do with the exif image data. When a cell phone takes a picture, it stores the orientation so when the photo is viewed, we know if it should be viewed in portrait or landscape mode.
But, somewhere along the way, with our image processor software on the forum, the exif image data that stores that data rotation info, doesn't always work correctly.
The easiest solution I've personally found in the past is to download the offending images, and then rotate them in a photo editing app, save them, and re-upload them.

I wondered if it was just something simple and obvious that I didn't understand.
It's good to know that there's a simple workaround.
, take note. Those images can't be corrected now (more than 24 hours have passed), but this is a fix if it happens again.

- could be me or an issue with the app but roughly since Christmas all images I open are garbled - also when I zoom in or out.
Strange thing is that when I hold my phone landscape and open the images they seem fine even when I zoom in.
I'm on Android- is this a known issue maybe??

since other parts of the site are working OK I think it needs a re boost to unstuck ...loading problem.
