Someone DM'd me asking about the counts. Let me explain..
The counts labeled as (1) are for the contest month (June) in the thread that was linked/shared in the challenge thread.
The counts from (2) are from our Link Expansion tool which shows the total posts and thanks in the entire thread, nothing specific to this challenge event.
If you look at the top example, the fact that the number of thanks are equal in (1) and (2) are just coincidence. Because only posts made within the contest month are considered.
Hope that clears things up. If not, please let me know.
Yes we'd be happy to do this, according to Mike's description above. I assume it's okay to use this thread for the bids? Whoever is the highest bidder by the end of July, then Big Mike can confirm the payment was made to the charity, and we will arrange a store credit for $500.
As of this moment, we are considering the store credit is being transferred to Big Mike (from Mich62). So from here forward, it will be Big Mike's final say who gets the credit, according to the bids posted here.
OK, thanks to this person for pointing out an error in our formula.
I've updated the result post again. None of the top three rankings changed, but you'll see that the number of thanks/posts slightly changed. This was because of formula error that has been fixed now.
Appreciate the help. Please let us know if you find any other issues with the script. Plan to make this automated going forward, and to provide real-time updates to the Event Thread without being held up waiting for me... so important to iron out any bugs!
We are approaching end of month and are now going into the last week.
If someone is interested he should place his bid now and not wait till end of month. If no further bids are placed within the next days I assume people are not interested and I will end the auction.
