I've been trading for about 3 years. I started off with index ETF's, then moved to options, then finally settled with futures (index and currency). It's been a long journey, first thinking trading was really easy, then thinking trading was really hard. I've searched and searched looking for trading systems, indicators, etc that would compliment my personality. I've seen methods that work well, but didn't fit my trading style (either they were too long-term, or too discretionary, etc.) I'm currently having some success with Fibonacci and support/resistance levels. I have a CS degree and am looking into Easylanguage, so I guess my mind favors a more mechanical approach.
I spent a few hours reading posts and noticed that people here are very friendly. Trading tends to be a solitary business so I'm glad there are people willing to talk.
Hi, my name is David and I'm from Czech Republic. Currently I'm living in Spain and focus on trading. I'm in papetrading phase and my future idea is work on AOS. I worked as a programmer and I have a lot of experience in programming. For this reason I love NT because it provides me to develop in C#, which is great and powerfull language. If is there someone who wants to share my idea, I'll be appreciate to contact me.
I'm somewhat new to trading. I've been trying some different things over the past few years, with usually less than profitable results. Looking forward to the forum and learning to be a profitable trader. Hopefully someday soon I will be able to help the newbies out.
I'm not forum domesticated yet, forgive me if i am over stepping forum etiquette,

I have been in the business for a few years having traded outcry and was around for the birth of electronic futures. In a short space of time I have seen many changes and many different people come and go.
I hope to have some good dialog with some of the people here and look forward to the challenges ahead !
Hi everyone,
I have been investing in stocks/ETFs/options for quite a while, but have close to none trading experience. I am good at developing software, and want to learn the skill of developing profitable automated trading strategies. This forum is a great place to start. Thanks to you all
Hi everyone. I'm an Italian trader and found this website which I think is one of the most useful that I've ever visited. Thanks BigMike for giving us the chance to improove our trading methods. I usually trade stocks and futures but I'd like to know more about forex.
I'm starting using Multicharts because I think is very powerful, hope to find lots of traders that use this software.
Have a nice day to all of you.
