One day I was trading CL in consolidation after it hit new lows, trying to catch what looked like a clean downside breakout setup for a measured move. I had a couple trades in a row move just over 20 MFE and come back to take out my b/e stop. So there I was short again, and this time price came down at a pretty nice clip to test that low. I was prepared to grab 20 ticks immediately if the breakout was weak. It broke by a couple ticks and just hung there for a moment. I thought to myself, "No way, not again" and quickly closed for +20, about a nanosecond before the bottom fell out and price dropped over 200 ticks. I bet a few bottom-fishers hit the liquor store after that one.
Short off the 2nd ETH deviation Vwap with a high ref point from 4/25/2013

Well WoW though i was going to get Run off the pitch there, buyers were not giving up
1 off, can relax a bit now iv hedged some risk
If we start rejecting ETH value now, will have to consider either taking 1 more off incase we start rotating higher
Managed to get my 2nd scale out going into "B" period
Just going to let the market do its thing now, next major confluance is Fridays Value area and ETH Vwap

Nice trade Greenr
I was looking at a hopeful failure at 93.88. I thought for sure it was going to retest that wick high from 4/25 and then come back to re test the Break out.
93.83 was the high. That would have put into my risk profile of less than 10.
This is precisley what @ft71 was talking about in his video in regards to information risk.
I waited for more information and the train left without me.
