Hi everyone. I have been trading 6 years and still have a lot to learn. I am hoping to automate my process and interested in the site for all of the examples of code and the experiences of the other traders.
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
HELLO.
Here's my short story.
I was introduced to trading by an old friend of mine back in 2004.I was doin same business with small stuff, most selling things and working as full time employee.
I didn't knew anything about markets and how things works. He suggested that should invest som money in option and tocks.I went like, what are those.
When I ask him to explain how this things working he just said that he will tell me one day.He instructed me how to open an account and I started. On first tip he gave me I double my money.
Anyway, time wen by,I throw my self into the markets do money on my own.In the min time,I was startnig to wonder how he was doing all this .So I ask,but he refused to tell me.I assume he liked that I was dependig on him.
It took me about six month to double my porfolio and about four month to loose all .It was crazy. It took me about one year to understand that I make mone without having any idea of what I was doing.I give up for while.
I'm currently back, and I assume as I'm new trader. For four monyh I'm trading on paper.I give my self one more chace.
Thanks Mike for the foru, and good indicators. This looks like it will be a great resource for all traders
I started trading 15 years back. First I did stocks then warrants on all kind of instruments. Afterwards I started with futurestrading on equity indexes and also did some forex. I blew up my account several times and got hit by severe illness 3 years back which needed some money too. Now, after studying many years and watching many systems I want to come back to trading live and for a living.
At the moment I do a little work on a regular job to earn my starting capital. I think in 2 to 3 month I´m ready to go again. I´m very excited how all my work in the past years pays out.
I am a discretionary trader and don´t like systems that tell me how to enter and exit. By the way I do not know how to code and have to rely on others when there is something I want to have on my charts.
My trading style is relying on price action most. But I do use some sets of indicators and Market Profile. One thing I want to look at in the following month is Market Delta and probably add it to my tools. As I trade over Ninja Trader I thaught of using the Final tool in Ninja Trader.
Thanks to Big Mike for the forum and to all the contributers out there. I found some indikators here and the webinar from Al Brooks was very interesting too. I recently bought his book and read it at the moment. Interesting stuff for price action traders by the way! Today I came back to the forum and wanted to subscribe to Mr. Duddella´s webinar but it is only for Elite Members. Thaught of beeing able to attend like stated in the invitation sent to my inbox
All this months webinars including that one are open to all. Just follow the instructions at the top of any page (read the banner) or in the email. The email also said "open to all".
thanks for your fast reply! I saw on the email "open to all" but was rejected clicking the register button (see enclosed pic). May you check the subsribe options on your site, please?
