I have had the 57 Chevy Bel Air- the 65 stang convertable and the early 70's Chevelle SS's.
My recollection of these cars is not as romantic as others it seems. I remember the skinny steering wheels the
seat backs that stopped at the neckline to insure your head would end up in the back seat when rear ended.
The lousy reliability and the terrible handling. The 70's and 80's American vehicles converted me to Asian brands
with a very brief adventure into the German over engineered marvels of today.
Anyway- On to Fast..
Today This is the fastest boat I have ever owned. This was a barn find used only a year and sat for 25 -
Completely rebuilt supervised by a friend who is an ex offshore water ski racer. ( These guys regularly water ski
at speeds of over 100 mph). We rebuilt this boat to Superboat specs. She loves light chop and is stable to 65 mph.
This was my previous vessel. Formula 242LS Not as fast but a nice comfortable offshore ride.
How many times can you run to Catalina for a hamburger burning 100+ gallons of gas before you get bored
This is my fastest bike. Custom Steel frame Gunnar measured to fit.
Custom made wheels - quality chit everywhere. Fastest lightest bike I have owned.
and finally well maybe not fast but definately fast response and articulate
These were the result of having to many beers over easter dinner a while back.
These are my pride and joy- Only 2 pairs of them in the world. Internal Network/ crossover
design By Troels. These granite cabinets weigh in at 150 lbs each these cabinets have ZERO resonance.
Everything else in the room will resonate before these speakers - resulting in some of the cleanest sound
reproduction. Spoiler alert if you like mp3's now you will hate them after listening to them with these.
Here they are in an audition room - We were actually considering starting a business to
build these and had experts audition them for proof of concept. The result is that they
compared to high $$ offerings today but there would not be enough margin to make it
a viable business.

The Regera ... Koenisegg is one of the few genius out of the box thinkers of this generation .. and although his hydraulic "gear box" is not a brand new concept, it is new on a supercar (that I've seen anyways)
Some cool YT vids of him explaining things on that car when it was revealed at the Geneva auto show .. really cool stuff
My old 5 Series is in the shop, should be getting it back in a couple days. Man, am I itching to drive it again. Feels like it's been forever. But when the weather is nice, all the cops are out, so I'll probably just have to hit up the tightest road around here and go close to the speed limit.
