In fairness, I don't blame the user. Some people still use download managers. In this case, due to the 1GB file size, and who knows how many concurrent threads he setup in his download manager, it caused a problem.
But the fault lies with us, our config should have been able to handle this. I'm researching a solution.

I assume so I have auto update on so I always get the latest and greatest.... but let me take a look ...1 sec....yes I have the latest updated 2 years ago 5.3.8
Can any other iPhone users please confirm the latest version in the app store? I have no Apple devices to test with. Once we get this info confirmed, I'll reach out to get it resolved with the developer.
The "thanks" received and given have been re-calculated. I noticed a discrepancy when calculating values independently, so I decided to use the recount tool with this plug-in to recalculate everything globally.
For me, it made a difference of about 100 thanks out of nearly 90,000. This is probably due to deleted/banned users more than anything else.
So it turns out Apple has changed their policies and it will require that we obtain a new Apple Developer id. This is not a super high priority for me at the moment and it also involves an annual fee, but I've added it to my list.
So for now, thanks to Apple, iOS users will be using a 2-year out-of-date version of our app. Another reason to switch to Android lol
