"After looking at 1000 indicators I too looked into the "price action only" approach. Like everything else it has it merits and I certainly learned a thing or 2 from reading.Reading Price Charts Bar by Bar". But there is no panacea and staring down a chart for 7 hours a day reading bar by bar is a gruesome process so I've gone back to my indicators with audible alerts carrying some new setups but no holy grail. "
Is 1000 indicators even possible? You would think that after, say, 500 you might catch on. None of that stuff works.
No one reveals the secret location to their buried treasure. And if they do, you can be sure it is worthless.

Thanks for your idea.
Have you backtested this pattern at all. I use tradestation, and would be happy to program and test it for you, with
all inputs included (custom inputs as well)
I am another follower of price action only tradng and have consistent and good success. I dont use any indicators. MY trading framework is using Point and Figure charts with specific entry and exit rules. Most of these are conventional point and figure theory based rules.
Index intraday futures trades for 17th February, based on pure price action and Point and figure charts. The output shown on a normal time series chart and the corresponding PnF chart.
