Waited and took the Long based on this chart and my other methodology
Long 1571.10 and took profit at 1575.20
commission paid by the market and 1575.00 is a significant area.
Beautiful day and nice way to end now
Update
Amazing how Gold has been stuck in a range/consolidation at 1575.70 to 1573.70 for nearly 2 hours...
Looks like a bunch of good trades for everyone - keep rocking.
I've been playing around with a few ideas that might be worth consideration. One is to incorporate a Momentum factor into a simple Trend Plot. The idea is to stay out of trouble during a choppy market but also find a variety of choices for entering a trade.
This one definitely provides a number of choices for entry.
Also thinking about building a strategy using the above indicator, but felt it might need a bit more data to incorporate into the logic. These two indicators could help towards that end.
The two indicators are nearly identical, the only difference being one adds a volume filter to the plot. I like to have them up on the chart at the same time, it helps me decide upon the logic for the strategy.
If I put a strategy together I'll be sure and post it here.
