Yes, I guess I forgot to mention that. Really all it would be is (high+low+close)/3 for the previous candle. On any time frame. It would plot a point at the open of each candle. I have no idea how to write code and I've searched and searched with no luck yet.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
why do you need to write code? the way I understand, you describe exactly what @Fat Tails was explaining. the (high+low+close)3 of the candle (which is a sma with a period of 1 and calculated from the typical price) and then that value plotted on the next candle (displaced by 1 bar).
Hi, I know this is an old post but were you sucussful with the pivot points code? I am coming from Tradestation with a pivot code showing major and minor pivots and have been searching to duplicate with TOS. Thanks
