I think I also heard on the radio that the company PERDUE banned the use of anti biotics on chicken eggs. They were adding antibiotics to the injection of growth hormones because the injection in and of itself would contain bacteria as the foreign instrument entered the egg. It's good considering how popular PERDUE chicken is among the general population, maybe they'll do the same with KFC.
""The amount of antibiotics used on the farm is simply not sustainable if we want to preserve their uses in human medicine," says Caroline Smith DeWaal, food safety director at the Center for Science in the Public Interest. "I hope Perdue's actions foreshadow changes across the industry.""

I'm trying to figure out if it has to do more with the yoke in comparison with the white or if the whole thing is bad altogether. A lot of people have said the white is a good source of protein. I wonder if the tmao is concentrated in the white too?
update: I think around six and half minutes in he answers the question that the white is just as bad too.
Sucks, I've been eating eggs a lot throughout my life because of how easy they are to prepare.

I don't know why I eat so much meat, it's all around me and I have a problem of giving in because I do like the taste and have been doing it pretty much my whole life. I guess you could say it's a habit, but really it probably has to do with being too lazy to figure out something different or seek out alternatives. Another problem is that I'm in pretty good health regardless because I'm young and haven't been reinforced by bad health yet to make the change. But you know it's stupid to just be ignorant and not change before it's too late. I guess what it will really have to come down to is going to the supermarket and picking out the right foods instead of giving into eating out. And also finding foods that are easy to prepare so I don't cop out when I'm low on energy.
To be honest, I really don't like the animals though. When I went to the state fair I checked out the chickens, cows, and pigs and hated how they smelled and looked. I couldn't imagine why I eat them so much. To think I'm actually eating an animal that had a whole life of memories makes me sick, but this is something that flies over my head when it's meal time. It's something so easily accepted into the society around me that I don't consciously think about it much but sometimes I do pull myself back and am astonished with disgust.
I guess I'm a victim of my own demise, but I want to change. In the health thread I asked for some meal ideas. Maybe you could give me some ideas for some that are well balanced and/or easy to prepare. The post about what to add to my salad helped. You probably have some sort of grocery list yourself or article you use as a template. Maybe that's something I'll look for too.
You're probably horrified by the meal I had tonight: Peruvian chicken, Peruvian beans, and beef/chicken fried empanadas
It tasted amazing but for the same price I could probably get 3-4 healthier meals from grocery store bought goods
All that chicken skin and carcinogen you must have your hands on your face
