i tried to import this in Ninja script for Ninja Trader 8 and I am getting a message that its for an earlier version of Ninja Trader and its not compatible with the current version I am using.
Anyone else encountered the same problem and how did you deal with it?
I was working on solving the original compile problem when I saw this solution. I had deleted everything after the || (or) on the problem line and it worked ok, but I dont know if it would always work, since I dont understand the statement completely.
Thanks for the fix!!! I have looked at this a bit and it works, but it is not the same as the NT7 UniRenko. I use it a little differently. in the NT7 I change parameters to 50, 6, 2 and it shows the churn zones. The NT8 version would be 50,2,6 as the parameter inputs moved in the user panel...That is not a problem. The version 8 shows the churn areas as welll, but at different levels. I am not sure which is correct yet... I am leaning towards the NT8 version, but wanted to point this out so the brainiacks in here can study it a bit.
Anyone have an updated Unirenko indicator for NT8? I can't seem to get the existing one to load or show up. It just says it's missing an .xml file or nothing and or doesn't show up in my list of options. Thanks
first of all thank you very much for unirekno script. Thousands thanks to author of the scirpt.
Recently, after using market replay or bactesting it seems there is some problem with the script. After running several backtest in row I got following charts in the next session/trading day:
When I played little bit it is not occuring when brake EOD is disabled. It seems like some issue with handling of the trading day/session.
Is there anybody experiencing this kind of issue as well?
I would guess that this is a platform issue and not a indicator issue. Before you start NT8, go to the Documents Ninjatrader 8directory and delete the cache folder contents. Then go to the db directory and delete the cache directory,
the tick, minute, day and replay directories. Then you can start NT8 and it will populate what it needs.
I dont understand the whys yet, but NT8 seems to have intermittant issues with the stored data.
