It is my pleasure to welcome back Chad Robbins @ GFF Brokers for our 357th webinar event, on Thursday, August 22nd @ 4:30 PM Eastern US.
The title for the event is "Managed Futures Program: About the Leader-Follower® Service", and bullet points include:
- Live Trading Account performance in real-time from talented professionals around the world
- AutoTrade® in your account following the World Cup Advisor’s lead account
- GFF Brokers is an Authorized Broker for WCA Leader-Follower® subscription service
- Trading futures and forex involves significant risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hi ya'll, I too have been recently looking into these folks as well, so thought I'd bump it. Any folks care to comment on their experience with GFF good or bad?
Old thread but things haven't changed much for the Canadians by the looks of it.
The Ninjatrader/GFF/Ironbeam consortium is one of our very limited choices for futures trading.
Yeah, I'm patiently waiting for more updated GFF opinions to be posted here also before I take the plunge into trading futures.

HI, anybody trade with them?
Since I want to be a beta tester for Sierra Chart direct order route, and I found GFF Brokers is an introducing brokers of Advantage Futures.
Fair point. GFF Brokers has been around since 2017, NFA/CFTC regulated, and they clear through Advantage Futures as one of their FCM options (Ironbeam is another).
The Advantage Futures side is solid infrastructure. They've been operating since 2003, have processed over 6 billion contracts, and offer co-location and low-latency connectivity to CME Group, ICE, Eurex, and others. For Sierra Chart direct order routing specifically, Advantage's DMA infrastructure and FIX/API support should pair well with what you're looking to test.
Given the range of markets you trade (ES, CL, GC, 6E, ZB, etc.), the key things to evaluate with any IB/FCM combo:
Commission structure -- IBs sometimes add a markup over the FCM's base rate, so worth clarifying upfront what you'll actually pay per side
Margin requirements -- can vary between clearing firms, especially on the metals and currencies you trade
Support responsiveness -- how fast they resolve issues during a live session matters more than any marketing claim
The Sierra Chart direct routing beta is worth watching. Sierra Chart's Teton order routing has been their push toward cutting out middleware, so testing that through Advantage's infrastructure could be a clean setup. Just make sure you understand what "beta" means in terms of risk -- particularly around order handling edge cases during fast markets on something like CL or ES.
I'm not sure how many members here have recent firsthand experience with GFF specifically -- community feedback has been limited. If you do go through with the beta testing, sharing your experience here would be genuinely useful. There's real interest in updated reviews.
One practical note: confirm that GFF's account setup for Advantage Futures clearing explicitly supports the direct routing configuration you need. Not all IB account types may qualify for beta features.
