So far have been able to shed 6 lbs, but i’ll be on the site for 2 straight month starting mid April so that’s probably opp for a crunch time. Just a bit worry with all restaurant’s food which can be a bit unhealthy. Well, hope everybody is doing well and still on track with their new year resolution goal
If this question for me, i’m good. Working life is rather funny thing, couple weeks after doing new work, getting an invitation to apply for a new place which paying double what i’m making now but need to be 100% on the road price to pay, sounds great but I don’t think i’m that unprofessional and i think things can get tiring really fast. When you are really looking for work it seems very difficult to even get an interview, but when you accept an offer suddenly people start contacting you like crazy.
Been checking out the market, very difficult to trade, too jumpy and can make me poor really fast if i’m not careful, might be able for quick scalping sessions for my style. How things going with your trading?
I better stop now since it’s about new year resolution
Right on, good to hear from you. Yeah, isn't it always like that with jobs LOL... trading is going well, looking forward to March and see if we can maintain some consistency before going back live again.
I remember a story Arnold tells in Education of a Bodybuilder. He's at the gym with his buddy Franco. Some Italian kids have come by to see Franco. Franco has failed twice to bench a certain weight.
Arnold calls him to come outisde:
"Franco, you're a hero to those kids. You cannot fail again"
Franco psychs himself up goes back in and easily blasts it!
Arnold's point:
The mind leads the body

The story leading to the resolution was that I have sacrificed so much for trading and one of the things was free time (which includes the gym, social etc). I saw myself in the mirror and said this is no good. So I decided that I wanted to have some set thing I could do when I was 100.
It would be something like :
pushups, situps, chin-ups, squats/lunges and vertical pushups.
I decided that this year I would start and it was with push-ups.
Already there is a huge change in not only my arms, but chest, abs and back (somewhat).
So if I post a "before" photo it is part way into the change.
Why not try the following?:
1. for a few days (like two weeks) just do some push-ups to find out your 65% effort set
2. Let's say it's 25 - just for a number.
3. Then think: "What would be a challenge beyond what I think I can do by year-end?" Some number that appeals to you.
4. Set a schedule and start. Just do more sets until you're at your challenge number by day's end.
5. After a month or two - should you be staying with then you can post (or not) you're personal challenge number.
The number doesn't matter nor does it need to connect to anyone else -just something you can say on 31 Dec:
"I set a goal
I stuck to it, and
I'm proud of myself (discipline, determination etc)"
