Based on your favorite future being Oil, try setting your data series "Trading Hours" to Nymex Energy RTH. Not sure if that will mess up any other indicators you are using but it puts the end of day around 1430 Eastern Time USA.

This is exactly what i was struggeling with in the past, i have to try this out when i am going to demo NT again!
